The Crazy Lady Who Runs This Thing.

Hi, I’m Emily.

I hail from the Chicago suburbs.

I geek out when I come across pencils that are not number 2s, wheat free food that does not contain nuts, anything dressage-related, french horns, wheat free food that tastes like the real thing, trigonometry, Harry Potter, and anything left-handed. (If you didn’t guess already, I’m left-handed, and allergic to wheat and nuts.) When the Olympics are on, I make watching them a priority.

I like math and history and jigsaw puzzles and board games and other nerdy things like that. Some of my other interests include coloring, sleeping, and painting (rooms and walls, not pictures, although i have been known to play with watercolors from time to time). When I’m tired I tend to sing silly songs, and sometimes I’ll start singing a random song about what I’m doing.

I also enjoy making faces, making historical figures out of snow, drawing pictures of pirate nazi squids, and drawing pictures of famous physicists being stabbed by narwhals. (I like sealife in general, I have a hoodie that looks like a shark.)

Some things I don’t like would include drivers who don’t use their turn signals when changing lanes or even turning and also drivers who don’t stop at stop signs. I can’t stand it when people use the wrong you’re/your, their/they’re/there, two/too/to, or when they misuse apostrophes. (Don’t even get me started on how I feel about “ya’ll” and “alot”.)

An Emily, is one who rides unicorns. All Emily’s have the magic talent to ride a unicorn anywhere they want. Normally the unicorn is pink, but sometimes can be other colors, like dark pink. Unfortunately, I’m currently living without a unicorn. I would probably immediately fall in love with anybody who provided me with a unicorn for my birthday (by the way, it’s November 16th, NOT THAT I’M TRYING TO DROP A MAJOR HINT OR ANYTHING).

I also have the best boyfriend in the world, and probably the universe too. His name is Brian, and he’s pretty much the greatest boy ever and dating him is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me.
